Nariman Aboud (Lebanon) Part 2 ناريمان عبود

Video

This is the drum solo section of a stage performance by Lebanese bellydancer, Neriman Aboud. Neriman is now retired. Her costume is a catsuit, half red and half black (which is great if you barrack for Essendon LOL).
Trivia: Maybe the catsuit was all the rage back then as Nagwa Fouad wore a very similar outfit, in the same colour combination, in one of her videos.

Nariman Aboud ناريمان عبود

This is Lebanese bellydancer Nariman Aboud performing at an outdoor concert in Achrafieh, a suburb in eastern Beirut, Lebanon.
Nariman was originally spotted by Lebanese singer Melhem Baraket and her career started from there. Later she married singer Wissam al Amir and retired from public performing in the early 2000s to take care of their two children. In 2011 there was talk of her returning to the dance scene but whether that happened or not I don’t know. She still regularly hits the dance floor at the restaurant in Jouneih in Lebanon though.
Trivia: Off topic, Achrafieh has a terrific shopping mall on Alfred Naccache Street called ABC.

Nariman Aboud (Lebanon) ناريمان عبود

This is Lebanese bellydancer Nariman Aboud in her heyday wearing one of her trademark ‘criss-cross’ costumes.  A very popular dancer in the Levant, Neriman was originally spotted by Lebanese singer Melhem Baraket and her career started from there.  Later she married singer Wissam al Amir and retired from public performing in the early 2000s to take care of their two children.  In 2011 there was talk of her returning to the dance scene but aside from hitting the dance floor in Jouneih this doesn’t seem to have happened.
